The Healthy Kitchen Two Speed Stainless Steel Blender (Model 9803) is a powerhouse that can crush ice, make drinks, puree vegetables, make salad dressings, puree hot soups and sauces and help in the preparation of any other recipes that call for a blender.
The 48 ounce heavy duty glass container allows you to do large recipes and make several drinks at a time. The stainless steel blades are strong enough to crush ice without the addition of water. It‘s easy to use, two speeds and a pulse is all you need, we have eliminated the need to figure out what speed to use for each blender task. Simply use low for thin mixtures, or liquids and high for thicker more complex blending or when you want foam on your drink. The Pulse setting is perfect for crushing ice and hard items such as cheeses and spices. The food is thrown on and off the blades so that it comes into intermittent contact with the blades until the blending is completed.
